Surefire parts fit?

What parts fit what. Im build a e1 series flashlight. Will a surefire z44 bezel fit (thread wise)? Making my own led unit for this. Thanks

You would need an adapter ring as the e1 thread diameter is much smaller than that of the z44.
Both threads are 20tpi.

By e1 do you mean an e1e? Will a Z44 fit it? Not natively. The Z44 is meant for the 6P/G2/C2/c3/9p series of lights, which use a fatter body than the e series lights.
You can get a Surefire E to C adapter though. This will allow you to run the Z44 on your e1e.

I have an old KL1 head that should fit. The LED in it is totally outdated by today's standards, but maybe good for modding. It does use Surefire's TIR optics, so not sure if that is what you want.
