The nail file/cleaner on many SAKs also makes a good Phillips driver. On the Wengers, it is a #1, on a Vic Classic, it is a #2.
The parcel hook on the back of many Victorinox SAKs is good for fishing wires through tight spaces.
The awl on many SAKs is a good multi-purpose scraper and light duty prying tool.
The small screwdriver tip on the Victorinox can opener also doubles as a light-duty inline #2 Phillips. Careful about it folding up on you though.
The wire stripper on SAK screwdrivers/bottle openers IS actually good for stripping wire; you just have to cut a ring around the wire, through the insulation with a blade first. It's a two-step process, not a one step process.
The Vic Classic lacks a large flat-head screwdriver. But in many situations, I can close the nail file half way, and use the edge of it.
For folks who don't use the toothpicks on SAKs for their intended purpose, they can be used to dig pocket lint out of the joints and cavities of the knife.
The T-handle awl on many SAKs could be used as a make-shift weapon. Probably not life-threatening, but certainly it would help the defender punch some painful holes in his/her attacker.
Corkscrew can be used to help loosen up knots that are un-touchable with fingernails alone.
