This morning a friend and I went up to the Sussex Co. Fairgrounds for their annual military vehicle show and swap meet.  There were all sorts of neat vehicles on display, and plenty of neat things for sale as well.

Me next to a T19 half-track from 1943, complete with a 105mm howitzer:

US Army Oshkosh heavy mover, NJ National Guard:

US Army "mules" along with a couple M1009s, the military version of the Chevy Blazer:

An original Wehrmacht Zundapp motorcycle with sidecar:

M198 155mm howitzer from Picatinny Arsenal, which is ony about 5 miles from where I live:

I think this is a Volvo, not 100% sure:

A 1941 Dodge ambulance:

1942 Ford Jeep:

Can you name all of these?  I own one of all the bolt actions..... :)

For sale, $1000 OBO- 3.5in Super Bazooka with three dummy rounds....

And finally for these pics (there was a LOT more on display), a beautifully restored 1952 Dodge Power Wagon:

In the vendor areas, I managed to find a US Army demo knife made by Imperial in 1961, in great shape.  A bayonet for a SIG 510 also found its' way home with me, along with one or two other goodies, which I'll post in their appropriate forums.  It was a great time, and a lot of fun!

I am LOVING that Power Wagon!

And the Zundapp.....

Looks like a great show!  Wish I could have been there!

The mules are very interesting; basic, all function no show equipment.  :)

The Volvo looks to me like a (original) Pinzgauer; we talked about them on some other thread a few days back, I think.

I think the bottom gun is a ppsh, not sure on the others...

You are correct on that one.  :tu:

From the top:
No.4Mk1 Lee Enfield (Britain)
M91/30 Mosin Nagant (USSR)
Kar98k Mauser (Germany)
M91 Mannlicher Carcano (Italy)
Kar31 Schmidt-Rubin (Switzerland)
M44 Mosin Nagant (USSR)
M95 Mannlicher carbine (Austria)
Mk2 Sten (Britain)
PPsh41 (USSR)

Both the Schmidt-Rubin and the M95 Mannlicher are straight pull rifles, not turnbolts.  A bit odd but very neat.  The Carcano and the Lee-Enfield are probably my favorite surplus rifles.  I own three of each.....

Another Dodge ambulance from WW2:

HMMWV with a TOW missile launcher and a couple of M2 .50 cals:

NJ Forest Service fire truck:

WW2 Harley Davidson with a scabbard for a Thompson SMG:

And lastly, two original BMW bikes from WW2:

We get frustrated if there are more than a couple of cars on the road unless we take a backroad in which case we don't expect any others on the road.

Of course it's hard to find a play or an opera out/up here.
