Done it!The forced marriage on a MP400 and a MP450 has come to pass (Image removed from quote.)I now have a bladeless flicky tool.As Gareth had said elsewhere, the retaining bolts can be undone with a set of Mole(Vice)grips.I gotta say it was far easier than I expected.I needed to add an extra spacer as the file is spightly narrower than the blade.I'll add more pixs soon.
Nice one mate I like it a lot. I can't quite bring myself to taking apart two MT's that I really like though.

Got it sorted - just uploding pics. I nearly ran out of profanities though, it was a close call

Well, once I realised that the can opener had to go it was going to bug me until it was done. So here is what, I think, is the finished article; (Image removed from quote.)Small, med and large flat driversPhillips driverFileAwlScissorsBottle openerJust to note that this isn't really reason-free UK carry, the awl puts pay to that, but this was an exercise in fitting as many of the tools that I find useful onto a MP400 frame. Gotta say that I'm pretty chuffed with the result. As I was in the mood for taking Gerber's apart I also did a quick blade swap on my MP450, really just wasn't a fan of the Wharncliffe blade, so now it's sporting a spare blade I just happened to have on my bench. The post is approx 4.72mm, so 3/16.
