Least expensive vic with a can opener?

I was an electrical technician for 7 years, so I know what you're getting at. Here's what I'd do:

Carry Klein lineman's pliers and 6-in-1 screwdriver. This would handle most of your needs. Carry the SAK as a knife and as a back-up screwdriver.

When I do the assistant work, it's mostly on big jobs like wiring an entire house. This means I'll work a few days, doing nothing but long runs of 12-3, 12-2, 14-3, and 14-2. These are dead wires, so no fear of getting zapped. I've used the Klein Linesman Pliers (I think most every electrician use those religiously) for that job a lot. Those days really kill my hands. The SOG cuts wire a lot easier than the Kleins. Seriously, it really does. And that saves me a lot of pain.

I've only had terrible luck with wildbillswholesale. Charged my charge and then wait 3 days to tell me they no longer carry the item. Then the refund took 15 days to clear back onto my card. :ahhh Not again!

Wow. That's also good to know. I guess that old saying holds true: "Fast. Cheap. Good. Pick any two." (in this case, only 1!)

I'll keep that in mind.  I've only ordered one thing from them so far, and the only issue was getting the wrong color scales.  The shipping was prompt and arrived quickly for my Compact.
