Back from the US of A (and Canada)
on: April 15, 2012, 08:47:54 PM
Hi mates! I´m back again, my roadtrip is over. Sorry to all mates here who offered to meet me, our schedule was very! tight. We visited NYC, WDC, Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Lake Onondaga and Boston in just 12 days.

My EDC for the USA was a Wenger SAK, plus a Gerber Dime. But for I am me, I came home with a Leatherman Wingman and a SOG Fielder in my luggage  :D

Dudes, I miss Bass Pro! What a store, there is nothing even close to that here! Thanks for the tipp! Walmart  and Sears had some nice offerings too, but nothing compared to Bass Pro. Amazing!

NYC is great, but no place I´d like to live there. I liked Washington and Niagara falls better, but I liked Boston best. What a wonderful city, I guess next time I will just visit Boston and maybe more of Canada. Boston reminds me on my favorite city, Stockholm. In fact, I just felt like I was in Stockholm with more fastfood places  :D

Oh, and I got addicted to Moose Munch bars, I guess I will ask you folks  to send me some soon  :P Moose Munch and Take5, two candy bars I will never get here, just like my beloved CherryRipes from Australia.

For I am crazy, I took some pictures of my new Wingman travelling with me.

Here is my Wingman in Leviston, Canada in the background

Here it is in Canada, visiting the Niagara Falls

And last, here it is in Boston

Good to have you back buddy!

Bass Pro is a great place.  I feel your pain though- there are none here either.  The closest Cabelas is in Freeport Maine, about a thousand kilometers away.

Glad to have you back and your trip sounds quite exciting. I have not been on vacation in some time, not to mention leaving the country. You mentioned the Take5 candy bars. They are one of my favorites.   Bass Pro is a awesome place to go! I have been to a few different locations which were all the same so I assume they are very similar to the one you wen't to. Do you have any other pictures from your trip.

Glad you you had a nice trip and made back home safe and sound.  Bass Pro is quite a store espically when you consider how it got started.
What? Enablers! Are you serrrrious? Where? I dont see any.
