LED Lenser Guarantee challenge?

I am EDC a small P5 LED Lenser since 19 December 2010 and this morning it broke down. I see on the LED Lenser their guarantee is for 5 years. I am taking it in to the Leatherman agents later today. Fortunately they are withing 1 km from my house.
I will report later what is the outcome.

This little flashlight is a real part of my body that I cannot part with.

I was very disappointed when I discoverd 19 Dec 2010 is longer than a year ago so the Seller Guarantee expired. BUT NOT THE 5 YEARS.
I went to Awesome Tools, the SA Leatherman agents, with the flashlight in it's little holster (original package excluded), and they immediately determined that it was the switch module that went faulty. They did not have stock, so instead they gave me a sealed new one (90 Lumens). I cannot remember if the original one was the same strength, but I think so.
Excellent service from Leatherman. Excellent!

I then also bought 4 X AA and 4 X AAA LED Lenser batteries, as they do last longer than even Duracell batteries.

Its good to hear Leathermans customer service for there lights is as good as there MT's.
