Milo is definitely getting better. He didn't want to go for a walk last night but did today, and he wolfed down half a chicken breast with rice this morning to so his appetite is coming back to . Huge relief  :woohoo:

That is great news.   Rice with cooked protein always helped our dogs when stool issues and sudden loss of energy zapped them. 

No dogs or other pets presently.  But, some Friday I will return home to a dog of some sort.  For now dog sit kids' pets when on vacation.

He's definitely better, back to trying to scrounge for scraps and humping his poor teddy. Still 2 more days of antibiotics left, but he's fine now.


2 of my friends sadly lost their dogs over the last few days. My friend Pete lost his 12 yr old Miniature Schnauzer to cancer on Sunday, and my friend Vanessa lost her 15 yr old female Husky suddenly on Monday night. Her husky went to the same puppy training class as Millie did, she was huge to my tiny little Westie.  Sad times  :cry:

Someone's kinda hiding, funny part was I asked the little guy to find him as he sat on the couch, he asked if he was in open sight, yup, and only about 10ft away from him, took him about 2min to find.. he blamed the clear tube :whistle:

Well first off, someone was bored and wanted to get my attn.. but then the Mrs made dinner, some nice thick turkey lunch meat. But not just any, that's Cajun spicy with a unique chipotle mayo, and I must say that was GOOOOOOD! But look at that little guy he couldn't wait for me to break off a piece, normally he won't eat anything unless you break it into small pieces, well I broke of a big piece and he freaking engulfed it! lol

Milo can't get a break, he got attacked by a border terrier while I was walking him tonight. He's met it many times but tonight it grabbed him and ragged him.

He's got puncture wounds in his chest which the vet says aren't deep and are ok, but he's not bearing weight on one of his front legs. The vet hopes it's just muscle pulls but he'll assess in the morning and xray etc if needed.  He's all doped up when I left him to calm him down due to his heart condition.

So we'll see what the morning brings.

The owners of the other dog couldn't be more apologetic. Their dog is daft as a brush, so who knows why she turned tonight. They are covering all the vet bills.
