I've had 2 male dogs desexed, and they were both easier to live with afterwards.  I believe that unless you want to breed from a dog then they will have a better quality life after desexing.

Still waiting for the results Kev. Real mystery though, because apart from popping her on a drip and knocking her out for the tests, she didn't have any treatment.

In fairness we do normally use gender for anything that is, in fact, male or female.  However we don't normally randomly assign gender to inanimate objects.  :D

My family tried this when I was a kid and it didn't go so well unfortunately.  It ended up with the original cat moving in with a family up the road from us and never coming home.  This was with mature cats mind you, bringing a new kitten home was much more successful.

I think our cat wouldn't mind, our neighbor across the way(like 8') her cat got out and went to our door, started calling and then sat at our door, even on the wife's wheelchair, as if he wanted him to come out and play, as for our cat he went to the door to check it out, never called out and then after about 5min walked away.. but the wife wants to get a kitten, unfortunately can't find one, she did find a 2yr old, but were still waiting. So I was curious about bringing any age into a home that already has one in it. Cause like ferrets, you got to strip the entire cage down and clean to start it off as fresh turf, cause if not that's the others turf and he'll even kill the other..

My gut says you'd have a much better chance with a kitten, but who knows?  Any way you might be able to set up a trial meeting?

I would think, idk we're waiting on info, have yet to hear anything on the kitten, the older one wrote back but we don't drive so idk if they would bring them here? So still waiting.. the Mrs really wants a kitten, so I said ok for her bday, the funny thing is, before there were like a 100 for sale and free, and now like none, lol.. I think it's kinda funny..

Just did it a few days ago.....1st night wasn't good.  Bingah stayed upstairs and the new kitten hid under the couch.  They're ok now though it seems.  Bingah follows her around and they play/fight, so seems fairly normal, lol.

I'm back into snakes again after a 8 year break. Friend messaged me asking if I wanted a ball python after knowing I kept snakes for years. Said the lady who had her was scared as it was a bit bitey. I went and picked her up today. Had to get the temp and the humidity just right. Now she is right at home basking in the heat.

1'd say about 180 cm . Not too big and unweildy.

When I was younger and stupider i thought it was a good idea to keep a Burmese python. Man, that thing got big and a bit aggressive . Back in the 90s they would sell you caimans, anacondas, Pacus, nile monitors, alligator snapping turtles, and many other creatures one shouldn't really own without extreme dedication and resources to home correctly.

People ask - Aren't you afraid of snake bites? nahh
I still have a scar from a Flowerhorn fish that attacked my hand when i was cleaning its tank. ::) ::)
