I just got finished making a unique dog door, yeah they make them but size wise I didn’t like them, I recently put one on for the cat cause every time the kids would wake up they would shut our door then the cat would get pissed and want back in, but when in want out, but we wanted it shut, so by putting the door on he was able to to so, only problem is now the dog don’t fit, witch was great for one door, this way the cat could keep his food in without the dog getting it, so we switched doors,now what to put on our door to allow both in/out, yet keep it closed? And not spend $120? Well? Let’s see who can fig it out, it only cost $12..
   As for our newbie, she seems to be made at home! look..

Anyone suggest a good no pull harness? I got to get her to stop pulling and I don’t want to put a choker on, I have a tightener, but I’m not going choker. She keeps complete tention on the leash, and on the walk home she saw a squirrel and almost took me across the street.. so I gotta do something.. anyone try a Chai’s choice?

Milo was in bad books today. I scrubbed my kitchen floor this morning and he crapped on it this afternoon.  It was raining and he wouldn't go out when he barked to be let out.  I later found a little landmine in there.

Just teach her to heel. Dogs are smart. They learn quick.

I will throw in another couple cents.
A dog who knows it's place in the family is a happy dog.
They won't jump up on peeps, chew furniture, misbehave when left behind etc etc.

You need to set the boundaries though, be firm and consistent, your dog will love you for it.

My neighbor swears by the " Gentle leader " for her dog.
I saw those but wasn’t to thrilled with how they go around the face, and with how we get dirty looks because of the breed I can only imagine how bad it would be thinking it’s a muzzle. So after a while of research I kinda narrowed it down to a couple and then went with this one, and of course the wife had to get purple..
