Our neighbor found a stray cat and its kittens in his yard and due to its powers of cuteness we kept this one. Our Cavalier named Ash who is male, for some reason decided he is its mother and he now follows everywhere and curls up around it.

Here's my big boy Fluffy, lying on a game's box from my daughter's day party, and looking up lovingly at his daddy:)). I think he was after some catnip;)

thank you, and thanks enki. and yes, it's a cheap 'katana' that i hung on an existing hook because it kept falling down in the corner.  i think i knocked ten bucks off a tattoo for it.  one of these days i'll get around to doing a blade photo shoot for you guys, i have a few decent knives.

Our neighbors used to have a beagle/basset cross.  She was adorable, but the poor thing had the drive of the beagle and the low, heavy, short legged build of the basset.  She wanted to run but couldn't keep up with herself!

She's right you know- many people don't know this, but frogs actually have tiny laser cutters with them and are excellent burglars.  In fact, they were so good that when people realized they'd been robbed the frogs started blaming cats, who seemed like a much more likely thief, which is where we get the term Cat Burglar from.  It's actually a frog conspiracy.

A lot of the food is actually years old. She likes to hide things all over the house. She buries a lot in the yard too. She never eats the food though, just hides it. :shrug: Some day years from now Lola will be long gone. And I will find some of her hidden food. And I will smile. :)

Ha, that's funny.  When I was younger we had a family dog who would take her treats and bury them outside.  I don't think she ever ate them either when she would do that.

Your dogs may be over-fed/under-hungry  ;)

All four of ours polish off anything vaguely edible immediately, ie the moment they have access (possibly in case one of the others may some of it). 

Absolutely no chance of any food being stashed anywhere, any time.  Most of the vegie peelings etc we put into the compost also get eaten the moment they are put down (except for celery leaves, none of the dogs like them, only the stems).  Raw lettuce (no dressings), mushrooms, everything gets eaten with great enjoyment (and yes, I keep all my dogs slim, they are healthier that way).

I just brushed Russo. His hair is only a centimeter long, but he sheds like crazy! Now he is running around the yard with a soccer ball.
