Well that was fun..
Just got back from walking the dog, as were walking down the sidewalk all harnessed and leashed up, this dog comes out of nowhere, bolting down a driveway and straight toward our dog! The Mrs reaches down grabs our dog as if she’s hugging him and picks him up just as the other dog gets to her, she spins keeping the other dog off as I try to even reach for the dog and the lady finally comes and yells at the dog and it bolts! The Mrs puts the dog down as the lady keeps apologizing for her dog, then asks if we live around here, like dude we’ve spoken at least 10times, she even gave the dog a treat once! But half way home the Mrs looked our dog over and didn’t see anything, all I know is if that other dog was a mean breed we’d still be over there with the police called!
   She looks over at me while sitting here and asks if I was ok, I’m like yeah I’m fine, why? She’s like your telling me your heart rates not going crazy? Um, no. So she like what, how are you not going nuts? So I said why do think I hate your horror film, they do nothing,
   If I was a cop and got assaulted, I’d probably laugh once then knock the guy out in defense,, lol

I'm glad your dog is ok MP. Mine was attacked and has never been the same since. She prefers the  company of people to animals now. If there is one thing that is guaranteed to put me in a rage it is irresponsible owners that put my dogs safety at risk. I wouldn't mind if they brought the dog licence back i would gladly pay it if it meant dogs we not left on the hands of fools.

All dogs must be secured, whether fenced, tied, or leashed, no ifs, your dog isn’t tied down, it’s your responsibility for anything they do! So if her dog did anything to ours or us, she would have be stuck paying for all bills and her dog could have been put down depending on what they did!

It's Milo 16th Birthday a week on Saturday. He's a rescue so it's the day we chose for him from the age the vet approximated he was at when I rescued him.

I'm wondering what to get him as a treat this year. I always like to get him a special treat for his birthday but I'm out of ideas. He gets his favourites of either chicken or corned beef to take his meds with daily, he doesn't play with toys, and at his age and being almost totally blind he doesn't particularly want to go for walks.

 I'm at a loss at the mo :think:

In my experiance the best gift you can give them is a whole day of cuddles on the sofa. Haven't met a dog yet that prefers toys over their masters affection. Happy 16th Birthday Milo :drink: :salute:

The Mrs said to make rice and minced meat, Make like a meatball then cover it with the rice then freeze it, she used to give it to an old dog, they can smell the meat through the rice and gives them something to chew on for a while since their trying to get to the meat. Also good for their digestive system!

I got scratched from one of our cats goofing around on the inside of my finger two days ago, and today playing with our dog his tooth went right on it! OUCH!!
