Fisher has been peculiar about what he sleeps on since he was a puppy.  He would never sleep on a dog bed, even tried a few and all rejected. 

We have a couch with end recliners so when he was a puppy we put a kitchen chair with a pillow on it between the recliners so he wouldn’t fall off.  He wouldn’t lay on the couch or on the pillow, instead he would push the pillow on the floor and sleep on the hard chair.

The chair and pillow are still there and he will frequently sleep in the center of the couch extended onto the chair once the pillow is in the preferred spot.  Or in this case, he wanted to sleep inside the pillow case on the chair.

He even has a cot outside, which he enjoys, but sometimes prefers the concrete.  He also won’t lay on his cot if the sun isn’t shining on it.

He also has his window chair that he likes to nap in, especially when I first get up in the morning.  He also sits or lays there usually when I’m not home.

Loki is smarter. A real puzzle solver, brave and valiant dog for it size (5kg), much more independent tinker than Theo.
Theo is affective, more disciplined, a true companion. They complement each other like very well.

That is definitely a good combo.  Shih Tzus are nice dogs, my Mom had a couple.

I asked because Fisher is part Lhasa Apso (other half Boston Terrier) and people always ask if he is part Shih Tzu.  It happens so much I got him a t-shirt as a joke that says “I Shih Tzu Not”.
