Up until recently these were my pets. Had to put all three of them down in the space of three months :(

The cat was 16-17, still getting along just fine... until some prick hit him in the car and broke is back leg. He had surgery to get a big external bar screwed into the bone to hold his leg in place but after a few days his organs started shutting down. Just as well he got put down as the recovery period was going to be 8~ weeks.

He was the most chilled out cat ever.





And these little girls were my rats. My girlfriend and I have had a few sets of rats now. Awesome little pets (like little dogs) but they're prone to tumors. Both of them had operations to remove tumors, but sadly both of them ended up getting brain tumors in the end.

Rats make awesome pets, but they only live a few years. I don't think I'll get any more due to the large amount of money we had to spend and the stress of it.

Rimfire, that cat looks like a little lion.  So cool :tu:  Sorry about what happened to him though, but at least he had a long life.  He must have been a chill cat to share space with rats ;)

I took a few pics of my furball and figured I would post them,, this one I couldn't find him till I moved the blanket in the kids room, he was tucked away avoiding company.


This one I just thought was to cute for words, lol


And this one, ha, we were playing around and I saw my knee brace and was hmm :think: so I wrapped it lightly around him and all he did was just lay it there purring, I was like this is cute but kinda boring since he's not doing anything, that was until he went to walk and rolled over, lol!


And lastly since I was on my computer I was going though some of the pics and say one of our dog that had passed last year and I made it into a sketching, I thought it was kinda cute.. JR

Funny pics JR :tu:  I wish my cats were that chill.  I wouldn't be able to attempt anything like that with Fluffy especially.  He would tear flesh from my bones :o

Yeah they make great little pets. They're quite affectionate and friendly and surprisingly intelligent. The only down side is the short lifespan (2-3.5 years). It's surprising how attached you can get to a little critter over a couple of years.

I finally got the hardware for my chairs that have been sitting in the basement for the last two years, needless to say someone found a use for it within the first ten min! Doesn't look to comfortable though? JR
