Amici,
Has anyone else upgraded their Maglite Solitaire to an LED yet? I have and although it is a tad better than the factory bulb, the jury's still out on this one..
Cheers,
Serge

I have only one like that. But I use a 10440. That's 3.6 volts. Really all I did was to pull out the old Incan and cut the led wires to the right side. Just make sure you have a led that's rated close to that voltage and there ya go. Oh and you might have to cut the reflector off a bit to fit it.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

I may get older but I refuse to grow up.

I have one, I made a review of it some time ago on youtube. I like it. It's a solid light, nothing to fancy but enough for nightly trips to the bathroom or to look under furniture for stuff that rolled under there. It's nice to give new life to an old friend.
this is the led module

I did few of the a couple years ago using both 5mm and 3mm LED's. If you use the 3mm LED you don't have to mess with the reflector.

For some reason they're more expensive now, I got mine for $7 shipped.
