Do you name your SAK's?

The family Magentus have been rewatching 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy again, and it stuck me that all the blades used in the films (except for the baddies) have names.

We get more use from our SAK's than Frodo did out of 'Sting' so we should honour them with names.

My list of SAK's with their names next to them;

Classic - Yoda (small but very useful)
Recruit - Gavin (it's written on the scales)
Huntsman - Dwight (my EDC and spiritual guru)
Soldier - Starbuck (from Battleship Galaxy - top warrior)
Rucksack - Chef (I use it for food prep.' Salisbury Steak Children')

What do you call yours?

I only name my larger blades, like most well balanced people...

I name mine Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.... you get the idea.

I don't give people names to my small tools, and only any other kind of name in a very few cases where there's something distinctive about the knife/tool, and usually it's knives. I do call my Dragonfly 2 "Sharktooth" from time to time, because it basically looks just like a flat, metal, shark's tooth.

Other than that, no.

I did name my old Ford truck after it sat for a few months and ended up with a nest of rats living in the ventilation system... what a pain that was... Every time I turned on the heater after that it always took several minutes for the smell to go away. So, appropriately, I named it Willard!
