Already heard of that, referring at it as "dendritica", a word related to roots.

I googled for "ustione dendritica", something like "root shaped burnmark", but I found only a book about CSI, not referring to electrical shocks.

I say "maybe".

It is real, and not uncommon when you are hit by lightning. It's something to do with the way electrons behave.

You sometime see the same pattern on the ground where there's been a strike too.
