So I may not carry my Leathermans much these days, doesn't mean I don't use them!

Making breakfast...

I have a strong attachment to my Leatherman tools even though they get little use.  One reason is that I am retired and have ready access to an abundance of tools.  Another reason is that my tool requirements have diminished significantly and the many Leatherman multi-tools that I own remind me of being all dressed up with no place to go.  :)

The frequent small daily tasks such as package opening is handled by my Victorinox Explorer.  Today, I received a Thunderbird butane insert for a Zippo lighter that I am planning to use to seal paracord (I'm a non-smoker).  I needed to adjust the flame but never got around to adding a small screw driver cork screw attachment.  Happily, the small screw driver on my LM Orange Juice S2 was perfect for this task.

Used my Wave to cut open a package that contained a recent eBay purchase of a new leather sheath, for the Wave. Nice to find that it fit the PST2 and my Crunch also.

Nice looking leather case. I like that, should only get better with use too.

I used my Leatherman today for cutting, poking, biting and screwing.  :multi:

Used a Sidekick to unscrew about 10 little screws from my vacuum cleaner so that I could remove the hose and clear out a giant hairball that was clogging it.  Put it back together too and didn't even have any screws left over. :2tu:

It's more worrying when you run out of screws but know you didn't lose any.

Kinda up there with you put something back together and you have parts leftover.

Camped this weekend, used my Wave to pull out tent stakes, assist with cooking, picked up the hot canned chicken can and dump into my other cup to mix with my noodles. Worked great for holding and picking up the hot can off the alcohol backpacking stove.

Some of us may have experienced that people around us do not believe we acquire our MTs for useful purposes, perhaps due to the excessive dedication and care we gave to them -- many of us fail to dissimulate that a MT is indeed, our preferred toy as well -- until we do solve some basic task with one of these tools right in front of their eyes. Today, one of the most simple features demonstrated its capability and its usefulness, being far away from home and when no other dedicated tool was available.

Just to form a star shape with the pliers. Yes I know, it's too childish.
But please understand, I needed a 5' break and all the tools were there, waiting for me to play with them...
I am sorry.

Oh, almost forgot, also to eat a peach and an apple.
