To cut a stick. We were outdoors walking (untypical, but for job reasons)  someone wanted a stick, the surroundings were plenty of this species (Chusquea culeou) of bamboo.

Used my Skeletool to open a Mexican Coke I had with my lunch. That's all that it did today. Still impressed a co-worker with how fast I had it out and my Coke was open haha. Little did he know I had a Vic in my picket as well.

Bad drive I think, I have to adapt it SATA to USB via an adapter to test. They said it was making a noise, so probably non recoverable. Just going to replace the PC, about 5 + years old.

Nice to have my wave with me today, I was asked to look at the computer and asked if they had a screwdriver, NO, so I said wait a minute I think I have a multi tool in my jacket pocket from the weekend. 4 screws and the case side and drive was out, I was a hero!

Today my little girl wanted to drive her bike. I was wearing trousers and didn't want something bulky  on my pockets so I took the Juice S2. A few minutes later, I realized that she was ready to change her training wheels to a higher position.

Juices are great for those cases where you can't carry a large MT. We must apply criteria in order to know if this compact device will be adequate for the task but they are stronger than what their size seems to project.

I disassembled a Wave to help with disassembling a first production run Charge Ti, and another FPR Wave. Both of the FPR tools have problems: Charge with broken plier stopping tab, Wave with broken scissor tab. I did not want to send both in. Thinking that LM likely give me an AL to replace the Ti, I moved the broken scissors from the Wave to the Charge. I used the female screw from the first Wave to help with aligning the screw thru the handle and pliers. It worked like a charm. I may consider selling parts of the first Wave, and keep the screws as tools.

On another note, LM had tighter tolerance and better fit and finish on these FPR tools. It took me a good while to disassemble them. Also, paying a little more for quality bits paid off. I got the 5-star bits made by Wera from Micro-Tools. The fit was perfect. I did not heat up the locktite, just muscled it thru. The bits held up well, without rounding off, while the screws came off undamaged. Pretty good German quality stuffs.

Did you happen to get any pics of the disassembly  I would have love to have seen some in between and after shots  :like:
