Removed the CUP fan and heat sink assembly from a motherboard today, and swapped those known good units into a machine with bad ones. Well, the fan had gone bad, anyway...the heatsink is just what it is.

No pics as I was busy working but let's just say that the dedicated Philips had better reach around the casing than the wide-bit Surge.

However , I did cut some tape, cardboard, and cordage with the Surge today as well and it is also a great tool.

I used my Crunch to undo the shower head in the bathroom to order to install a new one that Mrs. TJ requested. This past Thursday, I used the blade on the Crunch to cut the strap off of a duffel bag where the one end was fraying beyond belief. Now it is strapless  :D
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Opened a can of liver spread with my LM Charge for snacks. Being left-handed, it was awkward to use my MT.

Rainy Saturday here so checking over my camping gear ready for the uk meet.  Replaced a broken shock cord in one of my camp tables. Juice scissors, a mini Bic and a smidgen of swearing at it

Rewired a plug.  The live line (brown) had come loose, and the neutral (blue) was too long for my liking, so I shortened it.  Used my new gen Wave (Thanks to Kingofswords!  We actually met for the swap.)

Last few days I've been using the players including those on PST ll, to indent the layer channels of my 30 year old Officier Suisse Super Tinker. It took a fall or two some years ago and chipped the scales off and dented the channels so some tools couldn't be opened.

I received a new one as a gift and this one went into a drawer. Figured I'd see what could be done.

I used the Rebar to loosen up the hose fitting on my house.  I couldn't get it loosened by hand.

ok, not "today" but very recent....

I moved not long ago and most belongings have not been shipped.  Cant bring myself to buy things.  Like kitchen knives.

I just love that line and it seemed ALMOST appropriate given the poultry, albeit chicken, and the approaching time of year, albeit three months shy...

I used my Blast to cut open a package from Sazabi, containing an original PST, and then used my "New to me" PST to cut open the additional bubble wrap containing scales that I will use to spruce up my Tinker Deluxe and my old Super Tinker.

Opened a bag of walnuts with the Squirt blade. Obviously the 'Tear here' strip was on the wrong side of the bag closure seam

I used the diamond file on my PST II to reprofile the edge on a really dull knife I just got.

My son's eyeglasses needed fixing so my wife asked for micro screwdriver. I initially gave her my SwissChamp's but it's corkscrew screwdriver is the flat type, not the star type. Fail. So I whipped out my Charge TTi and she was able to do the task effortlessly.

Charge - 1, SwissChamp - 0

Yesterday evening I used my PST to open a package from Amazon. As you can see, my trusty Beagle "Scout" (both the Thundah, and the Beagle, in ThundahBeagle) was on-hand to inspect the contents.

While I have purchased a number of new Leatherman tools, they were all gifts for others. Every one I have owned has been pre-owned. This is my first new Leatherman I have purchased for myself. The Rebar.

Um, that's eight.

Doing some debris removal from Hurricane Irma (finally removed the downed tree from my yard) and I used my Sidekick to remove a couple of dozen sticker burrs from my socks and shoe laces. It was a lot better than pricking my fingers on the damn things which are very sharp, and the spring assisted pliers made easy work of it.

How is the damage down there Alan? I know you can see it on TV but you would give a better perspective on it vs.the media :salute:

Today I used the modified pry bar (ex screwdriver, large) of my ST 300 VX to remove a reluctant wiper blade.
