Late entry for yesterday - couldn't find the correct topics so fast...

Following a minor washbasin drain plug lift (operation, reduction in ability of) alert in the bathroom, the picture below shows the Supertool 300 VX just after performing powerful, determined and decisive action on a stubborn drain plug lift control rod connector screw :D.

Not in the picture, the subsequent powerful twisting action on the washbasin drain clamping sleeve using the plier heads inside some available and handy orifice on said sleeve, following the discovery that said sleeve had in fact been loose enough to impair the sealing function of the drain gasket, resulting in minor flooding.

The Supertool was carried on the subsequent afternoon stroll by way of commendation and gratitude for services rendered..

Hey guys,

Rebar saved the day today. Screw fell out of the regulator, for the deep fryer.  Rebar worked flawlessly to get the operation rolling!

Happy Turkey Day!

Going on a business trip again and came to the office in order to pick some stuff and realized that the charger I usually carry on such trips makes weird noises. It turned out to be the cooling fan. Disassembled, sprayed with wd40 and left to get worked in for a while using a breadbord and a usb power bank as a power source.
Used Micra and Wave to accomplish this but at some point had to pick a long screwdriver since Micra couldn’t quite reach that deep.

Works much quieter now

P.S.: Micra has 0697 on both handles and it’s still magnetic

So here I am on the road again Used Wave and it’s pliers just now to connect my MacBook Pro to the TV set in a hotel room. smurfs made it a tough mission to accomplish, but everything is possible with a Wave

Being done with that I can finally just sit down, relax, have a cup of herbal tea and watch “The Story Of Dick Proenneke”

OMG
I hate when I see they've put the TV (with cable entry behind) so close to the wall. When a hotel, or any place whatsoever, has that kind of smurfed TV mounting they immediately lose a star on my list.  :twak:

Not today but yesterday. Used the (modded in) bit driver on the Rebar VX in the pic below to reinsert and tighten a screw which had fallen out of our bathroom towel holder. No pics of the action itself, alas, had no phone on me.

Cheers!

Helped a close friend of mine service a Zippo lighter I gave her a while ago. So she complained that it won’t light up the way it did and should and I told her to bring it the next time we’ll meet. She did today and in order to give a lighter a new life I bought a new wick and a small pack of cottonwool. She also brought a new flint, so we were all set and while drinking tea at the cafe I engaged my Wave, disassembled a lighter, replaced everything I wanted to and assembled it back. Should be just fine now.

Used pliers to remove old wick and cottonwool and then used a large flathead to push in the new cottonwool, unscrew the flint tube and align the wick. Love the Wave, man, and now my friend does too .

P.S.: we had a bunch of remaining cottonwool and were about to throw it away, but then this guy sitting not far from us drops and breaks his glass and he cuts himself, so he asks the bartender if he has medical alcohol and cottonwool. Bartender has neither but he’s got spirits and we surprisingly come up with a cottonwool, so it has all turned out to be pretty good

Used my ST300, bit adapter and bits yesterday to take apart a few Stihl cut off saw pull started rope assemblies  The star bit on the bit adapter was just the right size to take the spring out on a couple of them and now we have 3 extra rope pulls that can be mounted in the case of a rope break :like:

Used Wave today to strip wires, hold things in place and screw the screws in order to install a lamp next to the front door of our house. Smurfy junkies always steal regular lamps but this time they stole a lamp slot as well. Why would you do that? No idea. And the house is serviced by the government of course, so not much to expect . So I decided to replace it with a lamp I had just laying around for years. It’s useless if stolen, so hopefully it’ll stay there longer . No pics of the process, sorry, maybe gonna add a pic of the lamp working a bit later when it’ll automagically turn on later today .

Missed me, my Tele and my Wave?
Finally made a perfect (well, almost ) telecaster. Got rid of that pesky switch that makes quick neck pickup engagement close to impossible, installed a proper one instead and got rid of the useless tone knob in favor of two independent volume controls. Had to drill three holes in that blank replacement control panel, but now this tele has the best of both fender and gibson worlds

So you have no tone controls now (apart from varying the volume of the differing tone of the pickups)?

Yep, it’s even referred to as “two volumes no tone” wiring diagram on Seymour Duncan website . Never use tone really on any of my guitars, so changed it in favor of something I really need
