Well, not today, but Saturday...  The Wave helped me with all the flower thingies at the cemetery for Memorial Day.  Opening boxes, cutting ties, and bending those wires used to hold the arrangements on the tombstones.

Was thinking how much Dad would've LOVED one of these...  :multi:

And I forgot, last week the Wave did duty above and beyond, helping to install the new AC unit...   :tu:

Reinstalled the crappy shower head in the rental and packed away our awesome one.

It's was an imperial fitting on an ikea fitting so there was a brass collet that needed undoing and thanks to the new Rebar plier head on my Black Tide, it wrenched it off no sweat.

Reinstalling it on the shower head was no problem too.

I always do that too, I have my shower head that I love, it has come with us for a few different houses now.

Scissorson the Style CS cut bait, opened hook and leader packages and snipped line. Good little fishing companion.

The Skeletool worked overtime opening barley pops and an assortment of meat packages for the grill with the loose handle which was operated by the man with metal slivers in his hand. Skeletool got it done today. This thread is awesome.

Today I used my Skeletool to open a tightly wrapped package from Ebay.  Inside: a gently used Gerber M600.

I used the flat driver on my vintage original Supertool to replace the strike plate on a door, and the pliers to pull some saplings in the back yard.

I used the pliers on my TTi to shape a coat hanger into a hook to unlock a car.  Worked beautifully.

Held the bolts under the table with my Black Tide to unmount my milling machine. Prepping for shipping.

It seems like every time I come in contact with a product packaged in clampack, the clampack is taken to the next level.  It use to be that you could take your average pocket knife and slice right through the clampack of yesteryear.  I promise you that if you tried to use your average pocket knife on the nuclear clampacks that my Charge Al and Charge Alx were in when they came in the mail to me today, you would have suffered some sort of mishap, whether it be to your person or your knife.
This was clearly a job for the Surge.  Now there are more than one Leatherman multitool out there that could do the job, but I chose the Surge, which made a quick meal of the two nuclear clampacks, releasing the prizes inside.

Used the skeletool to replace the air cleaner on the old yard master mower. The kick was used at work to replace a heating return grate and open several boxes of fasteners for the depleated fastener index. The can opener was used for the tape on the boxes to save the blade.

Used the saw on my Wave to cut down a young tree for a friend.
He was quite surprised how little time it took to get him the blank for his new cane :)

Used my MUT to cut various foodstuffs on a picnic with my children and then used it with a fire steel to make a campfire as my boy wanted to see a fire started without matches; he's only 4 but shows lots of promise in the 'bushcraft' areas.

Used my BO Wave to make a few badge pins for my shift partners out of solid copper wire.  I also used it to dismantle a door to trim some metal backed weatherstripping that was sticking out.

Went on an 17.5km bike ride and broke my seat half way through... Thought i would have to call for a ride when I realized I could fix it with my wave just enough to get home. Leatherman saves the day again!

I used my wingman to open the tools of my Gerber Bear Grylls pocket tool, in a final attempt to see if some more lubrication would make it easier to open. It did'nt help much  :(
