Used the pliers today on my Rebar. Once for pulling out nails, secondly for loosening and tightening the chuck on my Dremel. I'm always losing Dremel wrenches--and that's even with a slot in the case labelled "WRENCH" I'd think to return it to when done.

Used pliers on my Rev to get a tough 3" long screw out of PVC piping.
Used the knife on my Rev to cut the tape.

Used the flathead to change a dust skirt with metal clamp. Struggled to get it off (was tightened down by the Hulk apparently) but the Rev didnt give up.

Is that some wear-patina I am seeing on the two-tone Surge?

....gets prettier and prettier every time I see a new pic of it

No photo, but I used my Surge quite a bit today.  We (my FFA Chapter) host the Children's Barnyard at the Colorado State Fair and today was opening day.  I used the awl to drill holes in heavy plastic signs to hang on the pens to "encourage" people to wash their hands after touching the animals.  I also used the pliers to cut and tire wires to keep fence panels together. Students borrowed it to cut twine on bales of hay and straw.   All around good day to have a Leatherman in my pocket!

Sounds like a good day, countrydirt  :tu:

Used the Rev flathead to open a couple motor control modules and sortation control modules. Used the end of the file (baby flathead) to screw on/off a computer plug to a keypad for our parcel sorter.

I had to 'invade' a new tin of Altoids and the Wave was close-by.

I cant believe this thing. It may not be the biggest, baddest or have the most tools. But I gotta say, my Rev is a heck of a fighter.

Due to the size area I was working in, my surge didnt fit or I would have used the saw. Rev played tug o war with strapping wrapped good around a roller. And won!

I really enjoy using my Rev, it works very well and was an excellent deal. Cheap enough for me to be semi-rough with it and not mind if I ding it; unlike some of my other more costly LMs such as the Charge.

Sadly it has been discontinued without a good alternative to the Sidekick or Wingman price range.

Nice carries, everyone!  :tu:
+1 for liking the Rev. Really great little tool; has saved me from a couple of "jams" and, as said by Wess, "Cheap enough for me to be semi-rough with it and not mind if I ding it". Heck I've modded both of mine (bye bye warranty...)!
Max, at least for the northamerican web page it is no longer shown, and has not been added to the discontinued listing, so my guessing is that's a recent decission. There's talk at reddit from people calling sales reps and getting a reply of been discontinued. RIP my little one! :P

We've opened quite a few bags of shavings to bed animal pens today at the Colorado State Fair.

Yup, I called last week when I noticed it was gone and LM confirmed that it is no longer being produced and at this time had no planned alternates in mind for its price range other than the Sidekick and Wingman.

You can still find it on the Canadian LM website but not on the US one. (Canadian version is now the first link when you google the Rev)

So I bought a near mint one off evilbay for $14 to keep as a back up to my beater. Hopefully I won't be needed for a few years (like I needed another excuse to buy more MTs or SAKs  )

I see some hardware places still have the Rev in stock. But once they are sold, thatll be it. contemplating buying another... :dunno:

I did use my Rev, once again, to untangle a bunch of strapping. One of the common things of my job.

No pics but used the Wave scissors to cut strips of double sided taped to mount cork strips to the walls of my classroom to hang student work (in case a principal come by and wonders what are learning).
