Thanks awl!

Had calculator shut off on me today… it’s solar so thought the battery might be corroded or it’s just a dead calculator. Easy enough to fix so opened it up. Went through the trouble for it to just turn back on. Bent the + lead to the solar and the LCD flashed. Now it holds a battery charge :twak: oh well. It works?  :think:?

This morning, the hair dryer cable decided to spit some plastic onto the wall....






Used the tool at hand to replace the plug...

Still waiting for my sidekick knife to dull. I cut anywhere from 2 to 20 belts a night to replace. Still holding pretty sharp after a few months.

Since the Signal is riding along, I figured it only made sense to test out its awl. It took a while, but it did go through the leather. The Signal's awl was used to make the lower hole.

We are watching TV while she is knitting. Suddenly she asked;"Does one of those tool things have a ruler?"  I proudly pulled out my PST and presented the magnificent ruler on its polished back. Her eyes sparkled as it unfolded. Well, that might have been an exaggeration. But measurements was taken :salute:

Too much time has passed, so I can't edit my previous post. But I put the wine cabinet together today. The screwdrivers were used quite a bit. Some of the holes in the wood pieces were not drilled out very well, so I used the Signal's awl to fix them. Of course, I needed the drill near the end of the project. :twak:
