I used my ES4 wire stripper head to replace an emitter and a receiver.  2 wires each but man, its silky smooth to strip with.

We are watching TV while she is knitting. Suddenly she asked;"Does one of those tool things have a ruler?"  I proudly pulled out my PST and presented the magnificent ruler on its polished back. Her eyes sparkled as it unfolded. Well, that might have been an exaggeration. But measurements was taken :salute:

I regard any MT related reaction that doesn't involve an exaggerated eye roll as a definite win, so I think you are ahead here !   :pok:   ;)

Had an interesting call to one of our machines. This machine sorts (and refaces envelopes) all while putting barcode on front, ID tag on back (the orange one). So they say theres a plastic bag wrapped around a roller. Now, this one zigs and zags 100 times and made it 75% of the way through.

Anyway.  Sidekick came to the rescue with the blade and cut it off. Job well done.

We all know the best use for a Leatherman, don’t we?

I’ve just used my Free P4 to open my new ES4.

I ordered it from Leatherman Hong Kong on 1st February and it was delivered in the UK today, 6th February.

Had the OG Super Tool used at a door lock fix today. Only the Phillips driver though.
A Vic.Ranger and Gerber Shard did their part too. I forgot to take pics of the grinding and filing action.

Yesterday I posted in the SAK use thread about using my Explorer to fix a bracket on a chair seat. Today I sat down and it wobbled and another screw fell out.  After cursing myself for not just checking all the dining room chairs last night, the kiddo and I got to work.  All 6 chairs he helped flip over and check screws/bolts. He “helped” drive screws and bolts and is getting pretty good getting purchase on the head, nothing stripped at least.

Used my Electrician to bore a new starter hole to move the bracket for all stripped seat screws.

Then ratchet action. Tightened a few not yet stripped. 4 per chair.

More ratchet action to tighten all hex bolts.  12 per chair

Great use McStitchy. Those back spring SAK chisels are always helpful.

No picture because I was balancing on top of a semi trailer but used Surge pliers to fix the downspout on a auger so we could finish loading soybeans today.

Here’s one once everything was sorted.

My Wave+ did a fantastic job of trimming the ends of my new guitar strings.  In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever used anything other than a Leatherman to cut the dangly ends off of new guitar strings.

I noticed my hose cart was leaking.  I used my Rebar Phillips to take it apart and tighten up the fittings.  The Rebar Phillips was able get to the recessed screws where my Wave would have been useless.  The Rebar is my go to multitool now, I just love the simplicity and non pinchy pliers compared to the Wave.  I will have to get in on the next Rebar Challenge.   :multi:
