Man, I just love the way Rat Cutlery's RC knives look. http://www.ratcutlery.com/  I'd love to get an RC-3. Anyone here own one of their knives?

I think they are well made, strong users. I had the TAK D2 but traded it with a friend only because I have great users already (Scrapyards)
and they just weren't me, and were redundant. But I think they are very nice blades.

I'd never even heard of them but they look nice. A little(LOT) out of my price range though.

Wait, Ontario is no longer making the RAT range?

Who is the new manufacturer?

I have a RAT-3 from Ontario. I like it for country EDC carry since it's small enough to forget about but has a nice wide blade for excellent cutting characteristics.

I think they still are; Jeff Randall from  "Randall's Adventure & Training" -RAT- products are still selling from Ontario and their sites, who knows, hands in many cookie jars I guess. Gawd bless em all!

Yes, Ontario is still making the RAT series and Jeff and Mike are making the RC series.

Great knives.  I have a RAT 5 in 1095 which I just love and have  a RAT 3 on order.  I'll probably be getting that RC-6 sometime down the road.

I've read from a lot of owners/users of Ontario and RAT Cutlery's knives that RAT's are more comfortable. This may be because they've elongated the handle on their knives. IMO RAT's knives have more of a custom feel than Ontario's, though both make production knives.

I would agree with that.  I have a RC4 and the fit and finish on the knife is way ahead on Ontario's Rat3 and Rat 5 that I own.

I can't wait to get my hands on the RC SERE.
