Mike,
I'm in two minds about the edge of this sheath,
The plastic pipe is not joined together at this edge but the lacing holds it together and the suede is just pinched together with glue,
I think it might look better if I cut the suede level with the edge and leave the thick 'white line' of the two edges visible  :-\

Did that make any sense at all?

Swamp thing maybe?

Pre or post Alan Moore? His idea that swamp thing is a plant with the memories of a human has a deliciously tragic flavour.</nerd>

Excellent work everyone, Mike started a thread and we derailed it immediately

The thread got so well back on track that I just have to answer this...

Yeah i reckon that'd work, plus it'd make it easy to spot any wear :)

To be honest, I'm not sure when that Swampy likeness was from, but I totally agree about the tragedy of it. I have been quite a comic nerd myself and still have a couple of full coffin boxes around here somewhere :)

Well I took it down the woods this weekend and it worked an absolute treat :tu:

As Tony said it is a little tight, but only a little, and that's a price well worth paying on account of how secure the Farmer is in the sheath :)

Certainly I found it easy to use one handed and made using the Farmer even better, plus safer when you've got 3 boys under 13 running round you constantly ::) :D

Now everybody start hasseling Tony about setting up a shop to sell these :pok: :D

I think I should have spent more time on the plastic before covering it as it was tight but I am glad you could use it Mike  :salute:

Guys,
Its not hard to form PVC pipe (Farmman has used guttering before) with a hot air blower/paint stripper or even the oven if the missis is out  ;)
