Just bought myself a Swisstool today  :D.

And man, this is one sweet tool (feels a bit like my original '94 Leatherman Supertool, which I love  8)).

I also love the "gold" shine on the side of the pliers, this thing is so cool ...

Amici,
You gotta admit, when it comes to hard core performance, it's hard to out beat a Swisstool...

Cheers,
Serge

Is there a way to tell the age of your swiss tool? And is it supposed to be break your nail, throw the tool back in the drawer tight? I haven't even seen all the tools on mine its so tight. It has been sitting many years but is in great condition visually. Is that a warranty thing?

There is a way to tell the general age of the tool. Take a look here: Different Swisstool plier heads , the truth

Some are tighter than others, lube and regular use will free up the tighter ones.

If you can't get it to "break in" properly, then definitely yes :tu:

Turnsouth is this your new MT collector?  :pok:.
It will take a lot to spell "Victorinox SwissTool"  ;)
What have you done with all those Core's? I'd imagine you would turn them into ST300's.  :D

I'll play, I'm fan of the SwissTool.

Welcome aboard Colin

No plans to spell out SwissTool (yet ;)), just took a liking to them and collected one of each style. Along with a few extra standards for backups.

I still have most of the Cores, but there slowly getting replaced by ST300's and SwissTools :)

I can see why you took a liking to them. The SwissTool is such a nice tool. I only have one but its been with me a couple of years and its certainly one of the nicest tools out there.
You love your big MT's I wonder what will be next on your list? "POWERLOCK"  :D.

So has the SwissTool become your favourite at present?

My favorite multitool and daily user at work is my trusty SwissTool Spirit.
For all those little tasks I grab my Spirit when my toolbox is not at hand.
