I just used the file on mine to get rid of some burrs on a pulley on my mower.

Out of curiosity, is it normal that the pliers become stiff when you crimp / squeeze hard on something with them, and then you wiggle them a little bit and then they become loose again?

Because mine are like that..

Yeah! The Rebar was really bad.... Locked up really tight, used grinding paste to free them off, they're fine now.
Wave+ are slightly better through lots of use.

Hmm...interesting

It’s mainly just because my pliers in my charge and Kick were never like this

Maybe it is just a weird “break-in” thing with the Rebar and Wave+ then

Do you remember how long it took for this to pass?

Been using the Wave+ in the 30 day challenge and they have improved quite a bit in that time.
The Rebar annoyed me so much I decided to "fix" them immediately!

Yeah I have to be honest, mine are pretty bad too. I didn’t think too much of it in the beginning as mine was pretty stiff in general when I got them, but it’s almost every time I use them; they stiffen up like this and it’s getting on my nerves.

I have tried oiling them with different types of oil (didn’t make any difference at all) and I have tried to continuously open and close them, which did more than trying to oil them.

I don’t have any grinding paste laying around, but I tried with some toothpaste and it actually made a little difference. I might try this a little more, but if it comes to it I’ll see if I can find some grinding paste, and go to town on it.

Thanks for your help anyway

Mine was tight for a long time.  It's now getting to the point where it's fairly comfortable to use.
