I may be working on a holster for the Rebar sometime in the next few months.
For now I made a 3D model and rendering. The model is the closed external parts only.

Hey Zap, do you think you could ever post a pack of renders of your models for those of us who are so deep in this world as to want Leatherman wallpapers on our devices?

The Rebar and I have a bit of a history together ...

The first one I got (right after release) failed on me after two days of nothing else but taking pics of it.
The second one I got (replacement of the first one) was missaligned by half the thickness of a handle ... so back to the store with that one.

I got so tired of it that, instead of replacing the second one with yet another Rebar I got myself a Wave.

But one year later I once again stood face to face with a Rebar at the local outdoor store and decided to give it another go. And as they say, third time's a charm and this one was perfect in every way :D. Some time later I got myself a BO Rebar and it was also perfect, and since then the Rebar has become one of my favorite multitools out there.

And then one of the members here starts a topic "Should I get a Rebar", showing pics of the Coyote version and immediately I was like .

So guess what  ::).

Some nice looking Rebars as well Roc and Ivo :like:

I still don't have a knifeless version but probably won't get one of those unless I get an extremely cheap deal on one sometime  :D

I am fighting a battle in my head on buying one of these or not. I asked my 8 year old and he said no when I told him it has the same tool set as the one I have. Then I reminded him he has multiple of the same nerf guns in different colors. He says it might be kinda cool to get it.

Does that make it ok to order? Logic is a bitch.

Edit: We can use that word?

Agreed

Variety is important, as is having a backup.
Both good logical reasons!

I was never a fan of the rebar till recently. But now I am very much loving them, I have bought 4 new rebars in the last 8 weeks, 3 SS knifeless and one BO standard. I only meant to buy 2 knifeless (one to use and one for the collection but due to my not willing to wait 2 weeks for delivery ended up with 3.
So now carry one in my bag and have two in the cupboard.

Will defiantly be buying the coyote one in a few months when my bank balance recovers.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.
