Question for black oxide SAKs
on: May 19, 2012, 10:37:41 PM
Does anyone else besides me use theirs? Not a mt but their sak. I know limited edition but I can't be the only one?
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

I do use one.. a green First Mate with BO tools. You know the series. I noticed first thing how fragile the BO is but I still like it for the "patina".

i used a OHT a while whit the black blade, not heavy use so i cant tell much, the BO is very weak  but with use it gets a really nice "worn" look.

I only owned that blackout pioneer for maybe a week.  It looked too fragile to use so I just sold it.  I dont know what kind of BO it is, but it's poor.   I think they just make them for collectors so there was yet another variant to get, I bet most are in collections and not being used.
PM me or email sakmodder [at] gmail . com if you are looking for custom SAK work.
