Yeah, SOG has great quality.. But, most of their designs are outdated. By this, I mean like the LONG process it is to get at an implement.. Or even the single ground knife blade.. I mean come on, SOG is a knife company right?

Ok, so SOG made a HUGE mistake when it comes to the knife, they also made a big mistake when they started too use the new can openers, butt that don’t mean they sucks balls. SOG will hopefully listen too the users and get rid of the single ground knife and the process too get the tools out is just fine and causes me no problem.right.leatherman innovates more than SOG.
IMO, SOG spends too much time putting unnecessary things like assisted opening blades on multitools. They could have been working on a PowerLock with outside opening blades..
Yeah, but before they experiment with new things they should improve their designs! Just get rid of the damn wings on the PowerLock!
And you can remove the covers. If you don't like SOG then don't buye it or use the MT from them, simpel. I love SOG and they have their flaws butt I still love them.
Swisstool on the way. The Wave was gone when i was going too buye it
Found a shop that had a SwissTool, but it was so F***ng expensive, it cost's 195$ in Norway. I say no F'ing way I'm buyeing a Swisstool for that, thank God for Felinevet and the low prise of 70$ w/shipping.
Doing great!! I use it all the time and I still haven't putt the tool covers back on (better do it soon or I will forget it). Switcht the 1/2 serated 1/2 straight blade with a straight blade.Have in fact been stopped by a cop on Friday when I was walking home from work and burning the midnight oil. He searched me and found my small and discreet Powerlock on my belt. He took it out of the sheath and looked at it while he was telling me the reason for stopping me was that he saw the sheath on my belt. He admired it for a minute or so, taking the tools out and asking about the gears. So I told him about the compound leverage and where to buy one, also talked about MTO.So, me + Powerlock = Great team.

Hard to say, he was a little bit stressed out when I talked to him, the cops got ALOT too do on Friday nights in Oslo. He said that he didn’t know about MT from SOG, Gerber or Victorinox, just LM.So let’s hope he saw the light.
