Visited the "open air museum" Bokrijk in the north-east of Belgium last thursday and my Spirit joined me  ;).

Bokrijk shows how people lived in Belgium around 1913, more info can be found here.

Anyway, it was a beautiful sunny day and here are some pics:

I am very lucky to have a ginkgo tree 20 feet from my front door.   Plus just got a new smart phone,   must test camera!

Yesterday was quite a hot day here in Belgium, and because I have to work this weekend, I had a day off yesterday, so we (me, my wife and our 2 boys) went to the Ardennes forest (east Belgium) to find a bit of refreshment next to (and in ...) one of the small streams there  8).

The simple things in life are often the best, right  ;).

Here are some pics of my happy place:

These next pics will show what I meant with "the strangest places" ...  ;)

These pics were taken at a small airfield near a town called Spa, in the east of Belgium, we passed it on our way home from one of our hiking trips, and we saw an old RF-84F "Thunderflash" and a Mirage 5B at the side of the runway, and I just couldn't resist ... (note: there's no engine in the Mirage anymore, but I still thought it looked impressive  :D).

Thanks colt 1911, again great pics .

Looks like the Deluxe tinker had more luck with the weather (although I must say that the rain makes the colors in these pics look very warm and nice ).
