Thanks Eric.  :hatsoff:
I also like your pictures. Looks like a cozy place to enjoy some peace and quiet.
And this multitool and watch - you are well equipped.

The pic on the aldi parking is really, um, unique?  :D Certainly a premiere in this thread!
Maybe I will react with a picture of the Lidl parking...

Unfortunately, I don't have a fresh picture, just these two more from our last trip:
(Räterichsbodensee, Grimsel, Schweiz)

That Aldi pic was a special one, wasn't it  :D

Can't wait to see your Lidl pic Peter  :pok:

Oh, and I don't care when pics are taken.  If you feel like posting pics from 10 years ago, go ahead, I enjoy them all my friend  :tu:.

Here are some pics from one of my favorite SAKs (the Evo 28) on one of my favorite hiking spots (the same location, near my home, as in one of my previous posts here).

And one without a SAK.

Great pictures again all, it's always a pleasure to drop in here and see the updates.

I spent a few days down in Taunton for cricket, which ended up including trips to Exeter and then down the English Riviera to Torquay. No SAKs on display, I only had the Alox Classic on me which never made it into any photos, but I felt like it'd be a shame not to share a couple of snaps from the trip.

The butterfly is a Red Admiral (I'm no expert, others identified it) and the trains are a newer class 802 and a good old British Rail HST - once branded InterCity 125. The latter being one of the trains I grew up with in the 80s/90s - they're still the comfiest on the entire network and invoke some very happy memories.

I'll just have to remember to include a SAK in the next set of photos - the Classic did cut open a sachet of mayonnaise for a mate in the pub at dinnertime, though. :)

Beautiful pics of an evenly beautiful scenery Michael  :like:.

Don't worry about there not being a SAK in these pics mate, the whole "pics of your SAK" thingy is only there to give us an extra excuse to take pics and post them here.

And I enjoy a nice scenery pic with or without a SAK in it, either way is fine by me.

So, Torquay you say...

I can't help it, each time I hear that name the following comes to mind:

Quote
Basil: But that is Torquay, madam.
Mrs Richards: Well it's not good enough.
Basil: Well may I ask what you expected to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain...
Mrs Richards: [interrupting.] Don't be silly. I expect to be able to see the sea.
Basil: You CAN see the sea! It's over there between the land and the sky!

Thanks for sharing your pictures here my friend,  I really appreciate them  :salute:.

Greetings from Belgium,

Eric

Cool Evo 28 pics, Eric!
I have not yet managed to take a Lidl picture....

Thanks for the pictures, Michael, beautiful area. And train pictures ...  :dd:

Today I wanted to drive to work when I suddenly ran into a traffic jam, what's going on here? Oh, the Appenzellerbahn is coming, make a spontaneous pic...

Now it becomes clear to me that today it is regional "Alpabzug". The farmers bring their animals down from the high mountain meadows where grass no longer grows in autumn.

The people of Appenzell maintain their tradition with great pride, nice to watch.
After 20 minutes and a few hundred cows, the show was over.

Beautiful pics Peter, as always .

Love the traditional clothing some of the farmers are wearing.  And that typical red train, the stuff of dreams...

Thanks for sharing them here my friend.

Again, great pics SurgeUk .

The PX is such a beautiful SAK.   I love the "thick" Alox SAKs, like the PX, and even more the Farmer X.

Thanks for sharing your pics here my friend  :hatsoff:.

Still working my way through the pics that I took the past 2 or 3 months...

Here are some pics taken during another local hike.  These are also the first pics I post here from our latest family member, our little friend Rocky (about 20 weeks old in these pics).

We forgot Rocky his drinking bowl in the car, but the Signal came to the rescue.

Made sure there were no sharp edges on the improvised drinking bowl...

No SAK in these pics...

And some pics of my GIST again (Garmin Instinct Solar Tactical).

Again, no SAKs in the next pics, but there is a watch in there somewhere  :D.

Some pics of a visitor during one of our hikes, here he is saying hello to our little girl (while always keeping one eye pointed at me,  if those black spots are pupils at least).

And here he's having a look at my Garmin  :D.

Thanks also Eric!  :salute:

And welcome Rocky, a dog is a great addition to the family who can have a lot of positive effects on its people.

Nice grasshopper, it looks huge on a child's hand!

My favorite gas station on the way to work. I'm always undecided whether to focus on the knife or the landscape, but there are already so many photos of my OC Solo in this thread, I think you know what it looks like ...

Another beauty Peter  :like:.

I know the dilemma of choosing between focus on the SAK or focus on the background...

You have chosen wisely  :tu:.

That sunrise is stunning, just stunning  :dd:.

Thank you guys. :salute:

Hooray, weekend! After a 63 hour marathon work week, I'm just tired.
Today I still work a short 4 hours - then I finally have two days off again.

Yesterday after work, one more view towards Kronberg and Säntis

Here are the final pics of these last two months.

Again, the same location as previously.  What can I say,  it's close to home, it's peaceful and quiet (if you go there on the right moment, that is).

And again, showing my Vic 28 and my Charge X.  These two have been my most used EDC setup for some time now (sometimes switching the Evo 28 for a Swisschamp or a Cyber tool L or Lite, and the Charge for a Wave, Rebar,  ST300 or Swisstool).

My small "go to" canteen, I noticed just now that it goes quite well with the BO Charge X  8).

And finally, while taking this last pic, I said to Misses TG-24 and our little girl Caitlin that, if this pic was made by my friend in the Land Down Under, it might not be a good idea for her to pose next to these dark murky waters... (I can't get my head around how you guys can go for a relaxing hike with that kind of wildlife around you...).

Anyway, no danger lurking here, so...

Great pics again, awl. :hatsoff: And lovely to meet Rocky. :dd:

I made it out for a walk this morning and actually took a SAK with me this time. :D There were a few swans on the River Ribble, along with some other birds which I'm sure will be easily identified by many of you, but I'm no expert and didn't have a clue!

Hello Michael .

My apologies for the late reply  :-[.

Beautiful pictures my friend, thank you so much for sharing them here.

I'm not a bird expert either, so my contribution to bird spotting would be limited to "that's a nice bird", "that's a big bird"... So pretty much useless  ;).

Those two stones in the last pics, any idea what they are?  The first one seems to have a broad arrow sign on top of it, and the bottom one looks like a border stone,  or military (border) stone to me.  But I would sure like to know more about them (I'm a bit of a history geek, so these things intrigue me).

Again, great pics and thanks for sharing them here my friend  :salute:.

Sorry for my absence. The work absorbed me again.
I'm going on another trip this weekend - hope that gives some nice pictures.

Cool pictures Eric, excellent equipment as always and the picture with Caitlin is so cute!

Interesting location, Michael. Thanks for the pictures.
