Wenger 88??
on: May 24, 2012, 10:53:29 PM
I'm currently into Wengers - I'm pretty much obssessed with their approach to provide tools for speSmurfpillsts areas but in the form of a tradtional SAK - Whereas  Victorinox's approach seems to be using the same tools in differing arrangments and differing numbers ....yawn ZZzzz.

I'm now considering the Mike Horn, BUT, what I really want is the RangerGrip 88 Rescue tool.
But, whilst I can easily find the pic's and spec's - It does seem to be virtually impossible to track down to actually buy.
Has it been discontined??

Tosh
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Didn't want this posted here, meant to post it in the swiss forum. Doh!!
Any chance of someone moving it there
I can't seem to work out how to do it.

So I live in Bulgaria, and it appears that the ranger grip 88 here is the official knife of the Mountain rescue service.

I don't know if this is the one you are looking for. The link I posted however is in Bulgarian so try a translator. It is available and the price here is about 200 leva which is roughly about 82 GBP (100 euro)

Screwed up royally there.    Thought you were talking about the standard Rescue knife. Didn't even know about that RangerGrip 88. Now I want one.  :gimme:
