mrynnr's electrician's screwdriver is what's missing on almost all Vics.... and when they have them they're in the wrong place (the back!)

I like Spartan's Scout Explorer... ditto the big Opinel.

Big old Rangergrip
I got that one too ! Wish I had gotten the one with wood saw, now I can't get it as it be too much money total on ranger grip and I got the 111 mm soldier and outrider () anyway.

Have you figured out why so mucho of the blade near grip is not sharpened?

Today: outrider, Thunderpants version !

On the Rangergrip?
I have no idea why there is 1.5 cm of blunt edge but I wish it wasn't there!

In wonder if it's there in an overprotective way to allow you to close it with one hand without risking it cutting your thumb? Do you got the wood saw version too? Or any of the other rangergrips?

I have a couple of other Rangergrips - a red one with a saw and a Wenger Rangerwood. Oh, and I am the proud owner of the Wenger Snowbeast which I got for 35 euros back in the good old days...
It has a saw & gutting blade as well as the usual one-hand opening Rangergrip blade.
No opening layer which is probably a good thing as that thing is getting chunky as it is.

-edit- when I first got it, I had no idea it would one day become kind of valuable or rare so I (ab)used it while renovating a house ... scraping old paint, trimming splintery wood etc. So it is not in perfect condition!

Used but you still have it! I'm envious!

One day I'll buy a rangergrip wood wood saw.

Hard to beat an alox 58mm.  So slim, so pocketable, yet so useful.
