Made an error above; the Bulgarian knife is a Wenger. However I'd like Wenger to do the same thing.

The Ranger Grip 88 is not difficult to procure, at least in Europe.
I recently bought two from Bulgaria, from two different sources, both with the BMR emblem.
Basically, if you want the model with the Bulgarian Mountain Rescue logo you have to buy it only in Bulgaria (not available outside that country).
The same knife, but without the above emblem, can also be bought in the Czech Republic (found a source for them as well).
Should anyone be interested to know where to buy the knife, PM me and I will give the emails.
I'm not sure but think that one of my Ranger grip 88 could eventually go in my trade topic, so keep an eye on there as well.

I just got my Spartan Special edition 2012 (1.3603.L12) from Filofiel Cuchilleria in Almeria, Spain, for 19 euros. It arrived in just 2 days. Nice looking red lanyard. But what bothers me is why Vic trumpets this model as a "SPARTAN LIMITED EDITION" i0n big letters on the box when the numbers on the divider behind the corkscrew are in six figures. J Mackrel Jones' number is already in five figures (010048). With a six figure potential, the number of Spartan "LIMITED" edition can possibly reach 999,999. This is a limited edition?

I got 2 and kept 1 as it was a low number <10000

That said I do like the little lanyard I can see that moving up to a slightly fancier SAK

Does anyone actually know HOW MANY of these Spartan Especial Ed 115 yr were made? Mine is 2012-077171 but I read online that only 2000 (2k) were put for sale in North America....I suppose the numbers are not a perfect series. BTW I got mine in South American BUT SA market is tiny compared to NA....
So what's the deal with this Ldt Ed?
