BBQ EDC!
on: June 12, 2012, 05:39:55 AM
Ever since fire was discovered, man's quest to hone and ulitlize this means of heat to cook has been endless. My quest is to eat as much of it as I can before the cold Canadian winters take those opportunties away from our beer chilled hands. I've been on the hunt for a discontinued, quirky Leatherman Flair for some time now and until recently I was fruitless either because they were too expensive or I just couldn't find one. Today was unlike any other, when I opened my mailbox to discover my very own Flair. Just got a Leatherman Flair in the mail today.

Finally, I'll have something to EDC during BBQ season this year. The Flair, combined with my Spyderco Rock Lobster, and CRKT Eatin' Tool, I can handle the thickest of steaks, heaviest of potato salads and the deepest jello bowls.

Darn you B-52s for making me think of your song whenever I read "Rock Lobster."  :D

Wonderful selection for the awesomeness of a BBQ. :)

Well now I'm hungry and it's past 1AM. I really like your writing style Eric. You should be blogging.

I used to write a lot of copy for advertisements and graphics so yah...it could be that bit of experience coming through.

Blogging? Who has the time! hahah

One more EDC load-out complete... What's next, your Morning Shave and Toothbrushing EDC?

(Oh man, I shouldn't be giving him ideas like that...)

Oh man, if I didn't loath shaving, I would actually give straight razor shaving a go. I would make the best damn tactical straight razor ever.

mmmm Damasteel, G10, BO liners...:)

Congrats on the Flair score Eric! It certainly compliments your other culinary EDC tools (although I do have to question the ability of the CRKT Eatin' Tool to reach the "deepest jello bowls") ::) ;) :D

But the title of this thread is BBQ EDC!, and certainly no Multitool.org grill man worth his salt would feel fully equipped without a Brookstone 4-in-1 Barbeque Tool on his belt, right?  :pok: :D

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I saw another similar idea but it was more of a retractable design. I think it's time to invest :)

If you buy it and later decide you don't like it, there is enough stainless steel in one that the scrap value would nearly reimburse your purchase price :D
