Multitool.Org T-Shirts
on: February 17, 2008, 04:30:17 AM
As most of you know by now, a small run of Multitool.org T-Shirts was printed a few weeks ago.  Our fearless leader has approved them and we are now ready to make them available publicly.

To place your order, send an email to me at MultitoolStuff@hotmail.com.  Let me know how many shirts you want and what sizes.  They are available in S,M,L,XL,2XL and 3XL.  Also include your shipping address.  Shirts are $15.00 each plus shipping for sizes S-XL.  2XL and 3XL are $18.00 each, plus shipping.  When I receive your email, I will reply with a total price that includes a USPS shipping estimate and payment instructions.  The preferred method will be PayPal, but other options will be available.  International orders are welcome.

I will accept shirt orders through March 7.  The screenprinter requires a minimum of 12 pieces.  From time to time, I will post updates and reminders.  The reservation period may be extended, depending on how quickly we reach the minimum quantity.  The shirts will be ordered ASAP after the reservation period closes.  It will take about 2-3 weeks for me to receive shirts and begin shipping.

Please post questions here or email them to me here.

Color choices are not available.  There are a couple of pictures of the shirts in some threads.  Perhaps Def will be along at some point and post one here.

The shirts are military green with the Multitool.org logo in gray.  The color scheme looks good with jeans or khakis.

So you're saying they should pay us to wear it?

This is what we have so far- if it's successful, we can look at other colors/designs etc in the future.

That picture didn't come out so well. The MTorg logo is done in a metal gray color, not white. Details are great, including all the little "rivet" holes in the lettering, just like its shown on the main site logo here: http://www.multitool.org/

I'm still young at heart... and in my neighborhood, I am the kid.  (Most of my neighbors are 50+ years old... and they all hate me :D )

Dumb assed question, though not final yet, need a deposit to show the shirt make we mean business?

As I reply to the intial emails from those interested in ordering, I will be including payment information.  I will be requesting payment to finalize the orders.  When most payments have been received, I will order the shirts.

I request patience during the next few days.  I have a heavy schedule at work this week that includes some night overtime.  I will reply to emails ASAP, but it may take longer that I would like.  I will also reply to this thread as time permits.

Shirt Update:

At the moment we have 4 MultiTool.org t-shirt requests.  Unfortunately, none of those are for large or extra large, which I have a couple of each and can fill.  So here's the deal:

We need at least 8 more shirt requests in sizes S, M, 2X or 3X to meet the required 12 piece minimum.  If you enjoy the site and want a really cool, somewhat retro way to show your support for MultiTool.org, this is it.  Sizes S-XL are $15.00 each, plus shipping.  Sizes 2XL and 3XL are $18.00 each, plus shipping.

You can make your reservation by sending an email to:MultitoolStuff@hotmail.com.  Please include your shipping address and I will work up a shipping quote and reply with payment info.

It was rumored that Def was working to get a more inspirational photo together to promote the shirts, than either Bob or I could pull off.  Perhaps he will be along to add a comment or two.

I'd like to get one, but money is relatively tight at the moment, as I'm starting a band.

How many in the band?  Maybe we can work out a group deal? :climber:

It might be cool to have a band dressed in our colors on stage.(Somehow I think this could lead to a thread on music preffered by members!)

Well, it's a traditional Dixieland style band, and, not to be sexist, but more than half the band is female.

I play trumpet, and another guy plays trombone. I am talking to a third guy about playing drums. I made him a CD, which he requested so he can see if he likes it or not.
Those are all the men.

We have a female horn player, tuba player, clarinet player, and trumpet player.

Now if you guys wanted to sponsor us to help us by music, then it's a different story.  ;) :P  :D

I've been out of it for the past week and a half, so this is the first I've heard of the T-shirts. I'm a little confused about what is needed. Are we short of having enough orders for the 12 piece minimum?

I am interested in an X-large (if they are really XL) or I might need a 2XL if they run small.

I can also fund the purchase of more shirts for sale later, if that's needed to meet the minimum.

Good to see you back!

Funding isn't really that big an issue, we just like to have as much of the order filled as possible before hand.  I appreciate the offer though! :D
