Victorinox Champion

For a long time I have had a Victorinox with broken blade in my collection... After reading about Victorinox mods I tough i wanted to mod my knife, drill up the pins and remove the main and small blade, then put it togheter again. after tinking mutch I looked it up on SAKwiki and smartknives, found out it was a Champion. I seachred for it on eBay but could not find the same knife.
ok now I come to the point why can`t I find a champion without the phillips and the magnifying glass on ebay? it is rare?

The old model Champion is not made any more - Victorinox added a lens and phillips a couple decades ago.  Not rare tho as a used knife.  They did not make the Champion for a while (after introducing the SwissChamp) but the Champion Plus (with pen and pin) is available now.

I'll just add that they come up on ebay quite often, they were a popular knife or at least Victorinox made a lot of them.  You can even find them new in the box quite frequently.
