Been lurking for a while, thought I'd join up. I own various multis, as they're extremely handy for work, and fun to collect. I also wrench a lot on vehicles, so I always use something at least once a day. I'm not afraid to cut up a perfectly good multitool in order to build the near-perfect multitool.
Here's some pictures of my modded multitools. I also own quite a few "stock" tools, but I find them to be boring.
Charge TTI. Bought used for about $60 from fleabay. Added "regular" pliers since the crimper was useless. Replaced bit holder with philips. Replaced scissors with medium-sized flathead.
Blast with a bunch of spare parts in it. 2 pairs of scissors?
Wingman, I sacrificed an old Wave to make this one. I used the serrated knife from the Wave, along with the liner to make it extra sturdy. I also replaced the Wingman's useless file with a modded diamond file from the Wave. Because of the taper of the handles on the end, this is extremely easy to just toss it in the back pocket and forget about it.
Modded Fuse. I carry this when I think I'm going somewhere a liner-lock onehanded knife is unacceptable.
