Gerber LMF in "falling skies"?

watched the first episode of series two of falling skies last night. pretty sure a young chap used a Gerber LMF to "despatch" an alien invader, by ramming it into it's throat! About halfway through, just after they were ambushed. Think it was e desert sand coloured one. Anyone else notice it?

It seemed like a good idea at the time.
