led lenser M1 ????

I'm just about sure I'm going to buy this http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/Led-Lenser-M14/17781864 led lenser m1 with gift card I got left over from Xmas.

I'd like your thoughts about it or any other led lenser lights you mto members might own.

I'm excited about getting this little light. I've done quite a bit of looking for a new pocket light that will take my abuse be bright enough and the focus system seems interesting.

looks like handy multifunction pocket light to me.

what do you think.

I was sent a p3 as a extra in a trade with grumpy barry and it's a very good torch,well made and bright,hope you enjoy your new torch

+ 1 i'm a fan of Led lensers, got a few and they are all pretty good. got my H7 from Grumpy and love it

and the p3's (i got elsewhere) get loads of pocket time. i think they're 100% for the price

I use a P7 strapped to my BSA Ultra for nighttime HFT comps.good enough to light up and knock down rat sized targets at 40+yards,and I have Thier cycle torch,not unsurprisingly on my mountain bike.Lets me tackle unpaved and unlit sections of the Thames Path at night.Also enough to blind errant car drivers outside the church on my way home

I like them!

I know some think LED Lenser's focus is a bit of a gimmick but I like it

My first was a P5R as a gift , that thing is BRIGHT

Next was a H5 headlight I got by default , it was in the Orange LM Fuse set & I was VERY surprised with it, so much so I got X2 H7 headlights for use for when we all go camping/bush walking.The H7 is much better than the H5

I actually like my LED Lenser headlights more than my Zebra

, I think I could well be on my own there as Zebra's seem to have a very strong following with the experts

, the LED's seem to have a much more steady light beam

the Zebra's seems to not be as steady when I move my head,it could be the rubber mounting rings on my headset are not tight enough but I don't think so

. The extra weight of the Led Lenser's over the Zebra may come into play on a long walk , I will do a comparison when we go camping in a few months

I have the M1 and a P3 as well... love both these lights! my M1 is my primary light for camping/hiking/outdoor use, and it can really light up the night.

I'm a huge fan of the focus system as well, especially since it can be operated with one hand.

I own a Led Lenser P7 and 3 Led Lenser P3's (one for me and one for each of my boys) and I love them.

Only thing I don't like is the fact that they count the battery life down to one lumen on the packaging, which is pretty ridiculous and misleading. People read "battery life 64 hours", but tend to forget to read the "down to one lumen" part ... just my 2 cents

P.S. battery life is quite good in my opinion, that's why I don't understand why the use this "down to one lumen" thing, the lights are good enough, no need for marketing tricks.
