If it makes you feel any better:

I appplied for a job with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources in March
They phoned me back in July and scheduled an interview in August
And last week they told me it's going to take at least 3 more weeks before they make a decision on who they're going to hire which will be September at the earliest.
