Nice. $300 nice? That's going to take a bit of thought.

I personally think the price is fair, although the price will only rise as they become harder to find. Especially in the U.S as not many will get over there.
You only have to look at the 2010 Damascus Pioneer and the sums they go for now.

even though this line has some limitations for everyday carry for my taste, it is an excellent collectors piece. I like it. The alox models a bit more though.

Yes it is. It's a bit hard to see on the picture.
As usual it's not on the tang but left from the hole...

Looks great!!

I was going to post a message today that they were shipping to customers, but you've already recieved it...

Really looks fantastic, I like the pattern; I bet the walnut scales with the weight of the knife really feels great!  I can't wait to get mine.

I am waiting for mine to come. :D
I believe this knife it will pass in price the last year's Climber model.
I am sure that in a year from now these knives will have almost double price.

I'm pretty sure it will pass the price of the Climber which didn't do as well as I expected even with the gorgeous scales. It's currently starting higher, so it would be quite a surprise if it didn't hold its premium over the Climber.

I'm pretty sure it will not double in price (i.e. $800 US) anytime soon as SAKs, even really nice ones, rarely reach that level.

Nice looking knife, but at $400 I'm going to pass.

Ya; and for those that need more than 1  :ahhh

There were some early street prices that were much less, but for whatever reason more are listing it for MSRP now.  You might look around and keep an eye open for a better price.  I'm shocked at how low I see the Heritage Soldier for sometimes; and as special and as great as I expect this model to be, I just don't think in the future it should be worth more than the beautiful classic original SAK the Heritage Soldier; which I think probbaly cost more to make than this one.  ...but it is all supply, demand, and emotion... almost certainly I personally will always feel the Heritage 125th Anniversary Soldier should be valued above this one.

Well i have to correct myself, i don't think that they will go $800 but most likely $600.

My thought exactly. :tu:

Victorinox has required dealers to sell at MSRP with no discounts. I'm sure there will be some cutthroats out there that will violate that but for the rest of us, that will have to hold, sorry.

Here is a quick one I just snapped before the sun was falling behind the hills.  Just got it today!  Really deep etch on the blade really shows the pattern.  Came very sharp and the edge is all the way to the tip.
