Wow that is a sweet mod. Who did it?
Is there a particular SAK, amoungst the huge number of models, that really sings too you, the one that you carry through thick and thin The one that may not be the biggest or flashest, but has the tools you need to get the job done, and engenders your total faith in it So what model does for you and why
YES!I love my Wenger Backpacker and it is not love at first sight. This irrational love developed over the span of 22 years. Here's my love story... I acquired my Wenger Backpacker in 1985 and I immediately EDC it. It was my one and only tool from 1885 until 1998 (13 yrs.). In 1998 I got my second tool, a Leatherman ST. When I started to EDC my ST, my Backpacker always supplemented it at all times. From 1998 up to present there are times that I EDC only the Backpacker and not any MT, that is when I go to formal occasions.I have lost this Backpacker twice but it always comes back to me. I lost it the first time when we went to the beach on a Friday 2 years ago. We were drinking beer so I just left it on the table for everybody to use. When we were about to go home I was looking for my Backpacker and later on everybody helped me look for it, but it was nowhere to be found. It was very difficult for me to accept the fact that I lost it. The following Monday, one of my buddies called up. He found my Backpacker inside the beer case with empty bottles at the back of his truck. The second time I lost it, I had no idea where to look for it. I was thinking that there was a bigger chance that I just misplaced it than dropping it from my pocket somewhere else. Almost every morning for the next 2 weeks I spent several minutes looking for it everywhere in the house. Two weeks later, when I arrived home one evening I saw it on top of our bedside table. I can’t explain how happy I was. Our house maid found it under our bed when she was cleaning our room.Using it everyday for the last 22 years has developed into an irrational love.We live happily ever after!!!Eddie
I do not have as extensive a collection as I wouldlike (but i'm working on it ) but the object of my affection is my vic climber it has all I need for routine stuff and work too,but best of all I can take it out anywhere and most of the sheeple don't bat an eye Like me it's simple straight forward and effective
Mine would be my Cybertool. I've used it more than any of my other SAK's and its never let me down, the screwdrivers on it are great
