They shouldnt have marketed it as an IT tool, it does everything, scissors, saw, file, pliers, 2 blades and everything else, the full bitkit makes it worth it for that alone anyway.

I've never owned an Alox SAK. I was always under the impression that Alox SAKs weren't anything special, just SAKs with fancier scales. Fancy scales never held much appeal for me.

MTO has enlightened me to the fact that Alox scaled SAKs really are different. They have heavier-duty implements than Vic's regular SAK lineup and are slightly thinner for a given number of layers.

The thing is, the Alox lineup still doesn't have much appeal for me. For some reason Vic has seen fit to offer only a very limited range of Alox SAKs. They seem to be fairly minimal SAKs or else to emphasize woodcrafting with saws.

If Vic would offer Alox versions of Tinker, Mechanic, Deluxe Tinker, OHT, etc. then I'd definitely buy them.

Well I like the SOLDIERS but I have in use for many many many years a PIONEER just because was used before
and I wouldn't hurt any of my soldiers + it has the keyring in it...maded my life very easy and safe in my pocket.

Thats why I prefere the pioneer and the Wenger SI
