G'day from Melbourne, Australia
on: July 14, 2012, 01:12:24 AM
Hello to all, I have been lurking on the forum for almost a year now and decided it was time to join up.

My name is Derek and I am from Melbourne, Australia.

I have a modest collection of Leatherman tools with the odd Swisstool and Gerber thrown in.

My father gave me a Pst in the late 80's. I thought it was pretty cool and gave it a home in the toolbag mounted on the back mudguard on my dirtbike. When I  sold that bike I rediscovered the Pst and decided it would be a handy thing to carry. After a while of using it I wondered if there might be something better out there, sure I love the compact design of the pst but using the pliers always is uncomfortable.

I went searching online,, discovered this forum and spent countless hours learning about all the different options of tools available. Anyway to cut a long story short I now have about 15 Multitools including many of the discontinued leathermans and some of the newer models too.

My Edc is a standard Skeletool, I like it as it has a clip which makes it easy to hide in my pocket.
