I'll have to pic mine. I'm going to start carrying her EDC for a while. I do like the sheath. Mine looks different from yours. Will try to get a pic. She's shy.

My B-61 EOD PowerLock. Removed the blade, moved the file to the blade's position, and added the wire strippers. It is usually accompanied by a Spyderco Manix 2 with combo blade and a Klarus P2A flashlight.

SOG PowerLock collection has grown since my last post.

Left to right: S60 with Master Mechanic badge and original pliers, later S60 with gear covers and simple locks, S61 with gear covers and piano locks.

I'm in!  In fact, I keep mine in my tool bag in the car (great for dirty work and loaning it out since the tools are replaceable).

I used the phillips on it last night to remove the cover off my car battery to help jump off a car and scrape a good spot for a ground connection.

I'm in.  I wandered into a second hand store today and in the knife case among all of the cheap knock off MT's and knives was a Powerlock.  It was dirty, but in good shape and had a very reasonable price.  I didn't notice that the tool covers were missing because I wasn't familiar enough with the tool to know that it was supposed to have them.

After cleaning it up it became apparent that I got a very good deal.  I've just noticed something after looking at the pictures in this thread.  The Powerlocks shown here are held together with hex screws.  Mine is held together with allen screws.  Is that normal?

I have been trying to get the answer to this myself, i really like the look of the 'hex' screws , are they 'older' models ? i have a 'cross cut' which has 'torx'.

Same here. No point in taking a new pic, since its the exact same as yours.
I gotta say, i'm a little disappointed in the build quality. I was under the impression that the actual fit and finish in SOGs were only behind victorinox. I would say its barely above Gerber(Victorinox >> Leatherman >>>> SOG > Gerber)
The tool flaps dont seem to allow the tool to close properly, the tools all clump like crazy, and the absolute worst that is unforgivable... The locking system fails if you push the large screwdriver/cap lifter down into the handle too far.

I have a brand-new modern powerlock(With the gear covers) coming in the mail soon, so i'll reserve my final judgement till i play around with it, but so far i gotta say i'm a little disappointed.

Side question: Anyone know the cheapest place to get replacement tools and sheaths? Looking to get the wire strippers and molle case.

count me in too, I picked up mine a few weeks ago, a black GSA, or I think it is anyway. I am having one hell of a time verifying that ! Lol anyway, got mine at a pawnshop for $20.00 because they could find no info on it and thought it was a knock off. . . Yay for me ! :salute:  I will add a pic later on if I figure out how to.

I have some SOGs and have posted about them in some other threads but never here, so here is a Powerlock with a little cousin.

I use it when I need to grab something REALLY hard.
