Stupid Ebay UK won't let us bid....I hate their stupid rules.  We used to be able to get great deals on leathermans etc from the US, and now we can't buy them. Grrrrr.  Sometimes I really hate living in the Uk.

Looked into using a proxy but it seems people get banned for doing that. Even more grrrrr.  eBay is not friendly to us collectors in the UK.  Just cos some stupid wee &@/£!?*% decide to buy knives & stab people, we all have to suffer.

Totally agree with you. Furthermore, should it not be classed as "Discrimination" to UK buyers?  :pok:
eBay takes the moral high ground on the sale of all items"it" deems unsuitable regardless of the fact they are not actually outlawed/ illegal here in the UK, But, yet at the same time allows a platform for dubious sellers's to use eBay's auction site to shift all manner of glaringly obvious knocked off items (stolen, counterfeit etc etc)

I'm pretty certain that ebay is discriminating against the UK population. Maybe we should see if there is a case to be brought. There is no way a high street seller would be allowed to conduct themselves like that, in fact I would be surprised if even a UK online seller would get away with it.

I wonder what UK trading standards make of it?

I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

I am selling (at Ebay) two of my oldest Swiss knives, these are the last ones that am selling.
I hate that i have to sell them but i have to pay some bills.
So if anyone is looking for vintage Victorinox knives (in very good condition) here is your chance to get them.

I repost it because i want to let you know that two old Victorinox knives, (one old soldier knife of 1924 and old Spartan of 1933-1949) are still on sale at Ebay and the time is ticking...  :hu:

You still have time to bid for them, there are real gems for any collection of knives.

(I hope they go high in price, so i can spare a few bucks for a donation to the forum.)

I have put at Ebay one of my last old vintage Victorinox knife (a real gem) and two Zippo lighters.
But tommorow i will put not one, not two, not three, but four different original Victorinox display stands, from a Victorinox store that it has been closed.
So stay tuned.
